The Runic Dark Heart is built on our most popular solid base — pure black hand-pigmented English porcelain with crisp white numbers — transformed with our signature runic-style numbering. The runic font adds a layer of character that turns a great set into a storytelling piece.
The numerals are still fully readable, just rendered in an angular, hand-painted fantasy font that looks chiseled from an ancient tablet by a hand that took its time and meant every stroke.
